Bursaries and Awards

Education for Life Bursary

In honor of our 25th anniversary in 1998, the Alberta Committee implemented the Education for Life Bursary. With this annual award, we support and encourage individuals in upgrading their education, preparing them to meet the challenges of a post-secondary education.

Each year, this bursary helps students with some of the financial barriers associated with post-secondary education. All full- and part-time post-secondary students are eligible for the bursary; however, first-year students are will be given first consideration.

The names of the recipients are included in a variety of ACCD publications such as our Annual Report and our newsletter, Action News.
